Bugatti is a French automobile brand founded in 1909. Bugatti produced race and luxury cars until the plant was closed down in 1956, vehicles focused on minimizing excess weight.
The Bugatti name was revived and a new model, the EB 110, was introduced in 1991 followed by EB 112.
In 1998 Volkswagen AG bought the rights to the name brand and released the Veyron EB 16.4 in 2005. The "EB" has a 8.0 liter W16 cylinder engine with four turbo chargers and all wheel drive. The Chiron, also with a mid-engine layout and the sucessor to the Veyron, came in 2016.
Divo, Centodieci and La Voiture Noire, the latter a one off, came in 2019.
