Bugatti is a French automobile brand founded in 1909. Bugatti produced race and luxury cars until the plant was closed down in 1956.
The Bugatti name was revived and a new model, the EB110, was introduced in 1991.
In 1998 Volkswagen AG bought the rights to the name brand and released the Veyron EB 16.4 in 2005. The "EB" has a 8.0 liter W16 cylinder engine with four turbo chargers and all wheel drive.
